For Table-Top Exhibitors moving in on Thursday:
CHECK IN LOCATION and PROCEDURE
All inside exhibitors moving in on Thursday must check in with staff at our command unit on Cabarrus Street (see map; approach Cabarrus St from the McDowell/Dawson St side) between 8 AM and 3 PM. The command unit will be located at the top of Cabarrus St., near Salisbury St. You must receive approval from our staff before proceeding to the loading dock to move any equipment or products into your booth space. Once you have checked in and received your credentials, proof of check-in form, and clearance to proceed to the loading docks, follow these directions to approach the loading docks:
- Leave Cabarrus St. by turning RIGHT onto Salisbury St. and go one block.
- Turn RIGHT onto Lenoir St. and continue for 1.75 blocks.
- Turn RIGHT just before the intersection of Lenoir and S. Dawson Streets, directly behind the Red Hat Amphitheater.
- Check in with the staff there and present the proof of check-in form you received at the command unit.
- Proceed to the loading docks, where volunteers will assist with unloading your vehicle. A person and the keys to your vehicle must remain with it at all times.
Additional information for Table-Top Exhibitors:
- All exhibitors must be checked in by 3pm and cleared from the expo floor by 5pm. If you have not checked in and your booth is not set up by 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, your booth and booth fee may be forfeited, and the space will be reassigned to the first available exhibitor on the SAFRE waitlist.
- Staff will be available to assist with locating your space, unloading your products, and transporting them to your booth.
- Unloading in front of the Convention Center is not allowed. All unloading must be done through the dock area. Unloading in front of the Convention Center may result in ticketing and towing at your own expense.

- Soliciting, including handing out marketing materials or promotional items, is not permitted outside of your exhibit space.
Credentials:
- Credentials can be picked up at exhibitor check-in, located at the all-white mobile command unit on Cabarrus St until 3pm. All exhibitors and their staff must be registered and wear their provided credentials during show hours. There is no charge for additional credentials, and each exhibitor can request as many as needed for their team. Please send your list of names to tabitha@ncsfa.com before the show so we can prepare them in advance.
Parking:
Exhibitors can park their vehicles in the surrounding parking lots and garages. However, oversized vehicles and vehicles towing trailers are no longer permitted to park in the lot at South & Dawson Streets (Lot G). Unauthorized vehicles parked in Lot G or any other lot will be subject to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense.
The map below denotes paid lots. SAFRE and NCSFA are not responsible or liable for any vehicles, trailers, or items left in any parking facility. NCSFA or SAFRE security team members do not monitor downtown parking lots.
